Neil has worked for Thales
Training & Simulation on various civil and military flight simulators
since 1998. With operations in 50 countries and 68,000 employees, Thales
is a world leader in Mission-critical information systems for the Aerospace,
Defence and Security markets.
Starting as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Apprentice, after two years
he secured company sponsorship for a degree in Computer Science at the University
Of Brighton. Whilst undertaking this degree he worked part time as a Software
Engineer for Thales in Crawley, except during his industrial placement year
which was spent working for Thales Australia based in Sydney.
Since graduating in 2004, Neil has worked in programme management delivering
full flight simulators for many customers including Lufthansa Flight Training,
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Egypt Air, Alteon (Singapore), Qatar Airways &
The Royal Saudi Air Force.
Neil is currently working in partnership with BAE Systems to deliver a suite
of Tornado simulators to the Royal Saudi Air Force.
